Seb Barfield, Director & Development Exec
With over twenty-years experience in the TV industry, Seb Barfield is internationally-recognised programme-maker. Specialising in arts, history and music programmes, his films are driven by strong storytelling, combined with an elegant visual style.
He has worked with leading presenters Andrew Marr, Lucy Worsley, Andrew Graham-Dixon, and Neil Brand, and collaborated with leading cultural institutions such as the Royal Collection, and Historic Royal Palaces.
His work includes the Grierson-nominated feature-length film War of Words: Soldier-Poets of the Somme, narrated by Michael Sheen; Art, Passion & Power: The Story of the Royal Collection; as well as the BBC/VH1 co-pro Seven Ages of Rock. He produced the ‘Gospel Highway’ episode of Soul Deep: The Story of Black Popular Music, nominated for an International Emmy in 2006.
